Peterson's Swedish Gifts

Music is a big part of Don's life. He has played the violin since he was 8 years old. Through the years, he has played with several groups - the latest being 'Offerdals Spelmanslag' - and has recorded 2 CDs with the group. Don is currently offering all three 'Offerdals Spelmanslag' CDs as well as a CD from 'triol' - a group made up of three young female violinists.

In addition to playing music, Don is also a craftsman of fine musical instruments. He repairs and restores violins and he also makes and sells Swedish nyckelharpas.

Offerdals Spelmanslag - Till vänner CD
This is the latest CD from Offerdals Spelmanslag. The title, 'Till vänner', means simply 'For friends. This excellent CD exemplifies the fun musical spirit of the group. Offerdals Spelmanslag - Dänsnödu CD
This incredible CD from the renowned Swedish group, Offerdals Spelmanslag is now available from Peterson's Swedish Gifts. This CD was recorded not in a studio, but live in a small village community house in Offerdal, Jamtland, Sweden with 50 dancers from Ostersund dancing to the music. Swedish Nyckelharpas
