Peterson's Swedish Gifts is home to many unique, hand crafted items. While many items, including the ceramics, pewter and jewelry are created by renowned Swedish artisans and then imported, other items are created in Don's Workshop. The workshop, located in the back of Peterson's Swedish Trading Company, is where the state-of-the-art tools meet old-world craftsmanship.

The most unique creation that comes from Don's workshop is the Nyckelharpa. These beautiful instruments take months to create and Don does the entire process of taking the raw materials and creating one of the most unique instruments around. His process pays homage to the 600 plus years of Nyckelharpa tradition. For more information about the instrument, click here.
